About
Researcher, educator, and evaluator in agricultural and community education
I am a researcher and educator in agricultural, leadership, and community education. My work sits at the nexus of community leadership development, agricultural development, farmer-to-farmer extension, mentoring, and food systems leadership.
I completed my Ph.D. at Virginia Tech in partnership with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, studying how participation in citizen science shapes leadership identity and food systems leadership among farmers in Nigeria. Across every project, I work to connect rigorous evidence with practical action alongside communities, practitioners, and other stakeholders.
My research and practice draw on qualitative and mixed-methods approaches, and my professional path runs from frontline agricultural extension work in Oyo State, Nigeria, through research and evaluation consultancy, to doctoral research and teaching at Virginia Tech.
